As an alternative to jail, Probation Services provides misdemeanor probation supervision to court-ordered clients convicted of criminal offenses in Salt Lake County.
Clients may be ordered to complete the following:
- Risk and Needs assessment
- Substance abuse treatment and education
- Mental health treatment
- Installation of Ignition interlock device
- Electronic monitoring
- Drug Testing
- Community service
- Regular face-to-face and telephonic contacts as required
- Other conditions as ordered by the court
