As an alternative to incarceration, Probation Services provides misdemeanor probation supervision and related services to adults convicted of criminal offenses in Salt Lake County. Additionally, we strive to:

Assist the courts in determining an offender's appropriateness for probation or need for incarceration
Access programs that will help offenders address substance abuse and criminal behavior
Address the impact of the offender's crime on victims and the community
