Criminal Justice Services is a division of the Salt Lake County Human Services Department.
Our Mission:
We are committed to providing the citizens of Salt Lake County with effective and innovative alternatives to incarceration. We achieve this mission by offering opportunities for clients to succeed through the delivery of quality, evidence-based services.
We provide a balance of jail release, appropriate levels of supervision, client education, treatment and competency development, and offender accountability.
Criminal Justice Services is responsive to the growing needs of our community. We have developed, as well as adopted, many programs that have been proven effective and been used across the country. This active approach reflects our vision for crime reduction, tax savings, and safety for Salt Lake County citizens.
